See How the Huge Foundation of Staten Island's New York Wheel was Poured

As mentioned previously, the New York Wheel is a massive 630-foot tall ferris wheel being built in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, next to the Ferry Building and the soon-to-be-built Empire Outlets.

The foundation of the wheel was poured recently using over 400 trucks worth of concrete all poured continuously, a feat not easily accomplished.

The video depicts the construction of the New York Wheel's foundation on Staten Island's North Shore waterfront. The will be the tallest observation wheel in the world when it it completed in 2017.
