The long-anticipated World Trade Center Liberty Park will soon be open to the public. According to a Port Authority spokesman, an exact date for opening will be announced this week.
While the majority of Park itself will be ready, construction continues on the nearby St. Nicholas National Shrine, set to open in 2018, a tribute to the Greek Orthodox Church destroyed on 9/11.
