This great vintage photograph show the view looking north up Broadway from E. 10th Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. The street is full of the old trolly cars that used to run around Union Square, and you can clearly see Grace Church on the right, still there today. Here is a Google StreetView showing how the same stretch of Broadway looks in modern times:
