[VIDEO] Alimama Tea in Chinatown Makes the Perfect Mochi Donut

Alimama Tea is an Asian tea house and dessert spot on Bayard Street in Manhattan's Chinatown. Amongst all types of delicious teas, they also serves up fantastic, creative desserts such as this perfect mochi donut. Check it out in this recent episode of the Fork Yeah series from our friends at Thrillist.

Located in the heart of New York City's Chinatown, Alimama Tea focuses on serving unique tea blends along with revamped Asian desserts. Their menu consists primarily of their gluten-free mochi donuts, which owner Janie Wong first experienced while traveling in Asia. These naturally gluten-free rice-based donuts marry traditional Asian flavors with a touch of New York -- think matcha and Rice Krispies, or Nutella and salted caramel.
