New York City always get a bad rap about being unfriendly to strangers and tourists, but new data actually shows that we've got some of the friendliest neighborhoods! Many of them have a stereotypical makeup of "Frat Bros", "Uptight Moms", or "Snobs" but these neighborhoods end up receiving the most incoming friend requests of all.
The team from Friendthem, a social connectivity app that helps people send friend requests across multiple platforms, recently compiled a list of the top neighborhoods in Manhattan with the most incoming friend requests.
- Murray Hill
- Financial District
- West Village
- Lower East Side
- Greenwich Village
- East Village
- Hell’s Kitchen
- Upper East Side
