Haunting Photographs of a Vacant New York City During the Blizzard

While the storm wasn't as bad as we all expected, the City prepared itself quite well, hunkering down and staying indoors for the night. A few daring photographers went out anyway, and the resulting photographs of the vacant, snowy City are beautiful in a post-apocalyptic kind of way. One of those crazy photographers was Vivienne Gucwa, and she captured some amazing shots. Her name may look familiar to you... we have written about the photographer on this site previously.

Vivienne Gucwa takes amazing photos all around New York for her photo blog NY Through the Lens, and now she has released a collection of her best shots as a coffee-table book of the same name. You can purchase
