Bjarke Ingels Explains the Design Decisions Behind His New Spiral Super-Tall Tower in Hudson Yards

Yesterday, we showed you the first renderings of a new Bjarke Ingels super-tall tower dubbed The Spiral for its spiraling greenspace terraces that ascend the building on each floor.

Now in an accompanying video released by Ingels' firm BIG, we hear from the rockstar architect about some of the design decisions that went behind it.
