Zagat Explores Brodo, a Bone Broth Walkup Window in the East Village

East Village newcomer Brodo is not your typical restaurant. It is a small street-facing window on
1st Ave where you can walkup and purchase "the world's first comfort food", bone broth. The meat flavored broth is served more like coffee than soup, delivered in standard sipping coffee cups rather than bowls. Chef Marco Canora opened Brodo as an extension of Hearth Restaurant, and they share many of the same broth recipes and even share parts of the kitchen.

Brodo is located at 200 1st Ave on the corner of East 12th St in the East Village of Manhattan.
