Vintage Photograph of New York City Hall from Above circa 1904

Photo: Imgur

New York City Hall was built in 1811, making it the oldest city hall of any city in the United States. It still houses important City government and also houses the Mayor's office.

This amazing photo was captured in 1904 by the Detroit Publishing Co., then scanned in super high definition by the Library of Congress.

This photo is in the public domain in the United States. This applies to U.S. works where the copyright has expired, often because its first publication occurred prior to January 1, 1923. See this page for further explanation.
