New York City Hall was built in 1811, making it the oldest city hall of any city in the United States. It still houses important City government and also houses the Mayor's office.

In this 1855 salted paper print from photographer S.A. Holmes, we can see how not much has changed in the past 160 years, other than public access and the outfits.
