[VIDEO] Watch How They Make Stuffed Roast Pig with Longganisa Sausage at Jeepney’s Kamayan Night

Jeepney is a small Filipino gastropub located in the East Village on 1st Avenue and 12st Street that serves up modern takes on authentic Filipino comfort foods.

In this video from the excellent "Deconstructed" series from our friends at Eater, watch as the restaurant prepares a Stuffed Roast Pig with Longganisa Sausage from scratch as part of their Kamayan Night.

At Jeepney, the Filipino restaurant in New York’s East Village helmed by chef Miguel Trinidad, a celebration means unfurling the the banana leaves and rolling up your sleeves. Twice weekly, the kitchen prepared a kamayan feast, laid out directly on the table for the guests to eat with their hands. Watch the video above to see the elaborate meal come together.
