Time Lapse Video Shows Thousands of Books Reshelved at NYPL's Restored Rose Reading Room

The famous Rose Reading Room in the New York Public Library's flagship Stephen A. Schwarzman Building just underwent a massive repair and restoration project that started in 2014.

The NYPL recently reopened the room to the public, and created this great time lapse video showing all the book in the reading room being reshelved.

In preparation for the reopening of the Rose Main Reading Room, watch 52,000 books being shelved...in just two minutes:
