DNAinfo recently published this great interactive map showing exactly which countries the refugees who have come to New York City since 2002 have originated from. The top three origin countries are Ukraine, Syria and Iran.

Roughly 8,000 refugees have come to New York City in the years since the terror attacks of 9/11. Since 2002, the city has seen 8,066 refugees enter the United States through New York, according to data from the U.S. State Department's Refugee Processing Center.
