Mark Gorton of transportation design advocates StreetFilms recently created this video showing the need for wider sidewalks and narrows streets in Midtown Manhattan while at the intersection of 43rd Street and 8th Avenue. With overcrowded sidewalks, and the recent addition of protected bike lanes, there are continuous streams of people walking through the lanes.
