Peatónito, a Masked Superhero Protecting Pedestrians From Cars in the Crosswalk

Jorge Canez, a Mexican pedestrian advocate and superhero better known as Peatónito, is in the City for the Transportation Alternative's 2016 Vision Zero Cities Conference and decided to use some of his power to keep the streets of Brooklyn safer for pedestrians.

Peatónito ("little pedestrian") could be the most beloved figure in the world of street safety. How can you not love a superhero who protects pedestrians from cars?!
