ON BROADWAY Explores All Thrteen Miles of Manhattan's Broadway Through an Interactive Exhibit

ON BROADWAY is an interactive installation that is part of the New York Public Library's new exhibition entitled Public Eye: 175 Years of Sharing Photography. The hands on digital exhibit represents life in 21st-century New York City through a compilation of images and data collected along the 13 miles of Broadway that traverses Manhattan.

Images and data include 660,000 Instagram photos shared along Broadway during six months in 2014, Twitter posts with images for the same period, Foursquare check-ins, Google Street View images, taxi pickups and drop-offs, and economic indicators from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Explore the exhibit at the Main Branch of the New York Public Library, the Schwarzman Building until December 31st, 2015.
