New York City's First Ever Bronx-Manhattan Ferry Service Launched This Week

Transit newcomer NYC Ferry expanded their reach across New York City yesterday by opening a new line from the East Bronx waterfront to Lower Manhattan. The line will run between Soundview and Wall Street, stopping at 90th St and 34th St along the way. Check out the new Soundview route for more information.

Ferry service arrived in the Bronx for the first time on Wednesday. It's a game-changer for commuters traveling to and from Manhattan. Until now, it took two buses and a train to get to work from the East Bronx. The new ferry will cut their commute time dramatically.
