"New York Calling", an Amazing New York City Tourism Video from the 1940s

This amazing film is a full color, 22-minute tourist video showing 1940's television viewers what they could expect from a visit to New York City.

Public relations / educational film promoting New York City tourism during the 1940's / 1950's. This film shows the major highlights one might have seen on a visit to New York City. Of course, arrival and departure from the Big Apple was by steam and electric trains, several of which are seen in this film.

The 75-year-old film covers many of the same tourist spots people flock to today.
