New Renderings Show an Updated View of Midtown's Forthcoming Vanderbilt Tower

One Vanderbilt — a.k.a Vanderbilt Tower — is a super-tall skyscraper being built directly West of Grand Central Terminal. Upon completion in 2020, it will be the second tallest building in Midtown, standing at just over 1,500 feet.

While One Vanderbilt will have a parapet that falls short of Nordstrom Tower, its roof height will exceed that of One World Trade Center. More importantly, the supertall will become the first building in Midtown East to surpass the height of the Chrysler, which has long dominated the area’s skyline.

New renderings of the building show how it will dominate the Midtown skyline once completed.
