Inside Baba's Pierogies, Brooklyn's New All-Pierogi Restaurant in Gowanus

Baba's Pierogies is a small restaurant in Gowanus, Brooklyn, that offers only delicious hand-made pierogies using the owner's family recipes.

Growing up, pierogies were made every Friday at grandma's (baba's) house. […] The recipes used at Baba's Pierogies have been taught to us directly by baba herself. We added a little twist to the classic favorites, only after getting her approval of course.

Patty Lee from Zagat recently sat down with Brooklyn native and owner Helena Fabiankovic to learn all about the menu and décor, as well as try out a few pierogies for herself.
