South African artist Lorraine Loots has made a name for herself by creating detailed micro paintings in a project called Paintings for Ants.
Since January 1st, 2013, Loots has created a different painting a day, selling postcards and paintings to online buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.
From July 8th - 15th, the artist will be exhibiting 730 pieces of her work at Three Kings Studio in Greenpoint, a rare chance to see her work up close.
