Drive Change's Snowday Food Truck Serves Up Grilled Cheese and Social Justice

As part of the A Day in the Life series from Zagat and the Huffington Post, editors follow the Snowday Food Truck as they go about a day selling grilled cheese sandwiches and other goodies on Governors Island.

In our A Day in the Life series, we take a peek into the daily lives of the most interesting people in the food world. In this episode, Zagat and The Huffington Post spent some time with the team behind Drive Change and the Snowday Food Truck. Not only is the non-profit slinging award-winning food, it's also giving formerly incarcerated youth a chance to rebuild their lives.

Snowday Food Truck is run by Drive Change, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York that builds and operates locally sourced food trucks that hire, teach and empower formerly incarcerated youth.
