Dominique Ansel Reveals New Creation, The Cinnamon Spun Roll

Dominique Ansel Kitchen in the West Village has only been about a year, but has already stirred up quite a storm in the baked-goods arena for it’s unique made-to-order pastries and desserts from fresh ingredients.

Yesterday on Instagram, the Cronut creator unveiled his newest creation: The Cinnamon Spun Roll.

Ripping into our Cinnamon Spun Roll, out tomorrow at #DominiqueAnselKitchen in the #WestVillage. Each one is a long strip of dough rolled together like a spool of yarn, twice baked (once after soaking in a spiced custard) and topped with #AppleJack #frosting. It unravels into soft buttery bites of cinnamon goodness.
