Chinatown's "Maid Cafe" Features Baristas Dressed in Japanese Maid Outfits and Showcases Japan's Servant-Master Trend

Maid Café's are a type of Japanese cosplay restaurant where the waitresses dress up in maid costumes, call patrons "Master", and are encouraged to be flirty, bubbly and laugh a lot. While these types of cafés have appeared in Japan for several years, New York City just got it's first one, aptly named Maid Cafe. If you are in to some light cosplay with your latte's, check out Maid Cafe at it's Chinatown location, 150 Centre Street.
