Tapping into her unique heritage, Danikkah Josan set out to open a casual restaurant to blend her father’s Indian and mother’s Latina roots. The outcome is Taco Mahal. Located in the same spot where her father once ran a magazine stand for over 30 years, Josan dishes out reinterpretations of Mexican staples using classic Indian ingredients. Tacos come served on naan or roti, with fillings like Chicken Tikka Masala and toppings of various chutneys.
