Big City, Tiny House: a TaskRabbit Project to Build a Tiny Livable House in Manhattan Over 3 Days

Over the past 3 days, freelance labor exchange site TaskRabbit embarked on a project to build a fully-outfitted, tiny livable home from scratch using 10 members of its service.

TaskRabbit challenged a group of 10 Taskers to build a fully-outfitted, livable Tiny House in the middle of Manhattan in under 72 hours - all for a good cause. Our Tiny House will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to Community Solutions, a national nonprofit helping communities take on complex social challenges - issues like homelessness, unemployment and health inequity - through collaboration and creative problem solving.

You can view the tiny house at Chelsea Triangle on 14th Street and 9th Avenue in the Meatpacking District.
