360° Video Shows Traceur Doing Parkour On and Around the High Line and Hudson Yards

This immersive 360° video from local filmmaker Randy Scott Slavin shows a traceur—a practioner of parkour—doing stunts on the High Line and in Hudson Yards, all around the 360° camera.

At the end of last week I met up with #NYCDFF grand prize winners Ilko Iliev and Marin Kafedjiiski to check out NYC's west side and thought it a good idea to bring my Gear 360 cam. This represents my first real departure from the "atmosphere capture" mentality that has been inspiring me with the Gear 360. Looking forward to furthering my exploration into "subject based" 360 films... If you're reading this and you do something cool, interesting or out of the ordinary let's meet up.

If you can't move the view around, you need to use the Google Chrome browser on desktop, or the YouTube App for iOS or Android to move around inside the video.
