Unsung NYC: a New Virtual Reality Project That Reconstructs New York City's Historic Soundscape

Unsung NYC is a cool new virtual reality project which combines 360° video along with immersive, binaural audio to help recreate the historic soundscapes of New york City areas. In this video, check out the sights and sounds of the area now occupied by the High Line in Chelsea and the Meatpacking District.

Explore New York's High Line Park as it was in 1609 through this 360 soundscape. From Calling Thunder: The Unsung History of New York

If you can't move the view around, you need to use the Google Chrome browser on desktop, or the Vimeo App for iOS or Android to move around inside the video.
