NY Governor Andrew Cuomo and the MTA have announced that the Second Avenue Subway will indeed open on January 1st, 2017! If you can't wait the 2 weeks until you can check it out in person, be sure to sneak a peek through this immersive 360° video from the New York Times, showing you inside the stations as workers rush to finish on time.

As the the city’s newest train line nears completion, we take you into the stations along the route that will house the artwork of Chuck Close, Sarah Sze, Vik Muniz and Jean Shin.

If you can't move the view around, you need to use the Google Chrome browser on desktop, or the YouTube App for iOS or Android to move around inside the video.
