Whether you like the changes or not, Times Square has certainly reinvented itself over the past decade. The square was once the crossing of two of Manhattan's busiest streets: Broadway and 7th Avenue. It still technically is the place where the streets cross, but most of Times Square's traffic has been rerouted, allowing for large pedestrian plazas in the streets, fully embracing its tourist-centric appeal.
