[WATCH] Check Out This (Probably Illegal) Walk Through the Unfinished Second Ave Subway Phase II Tunnel

This segment of the Second Ave Subway was constructed in the 1970s underneath East Harlem. Construction was halted in 1975 due to the city's fiscal crisis, but was continued to be inspected often to make sure it remained structurally sound. In the future, it will be incorporated into the design of Phase 2 of the Second Ave Subway.
