Dreamland was one of several amusement parks on Coney Island in the early 1900s. It lasted from 1904 through 1911 when it was destroyed by a fire after a worker accidentally kicked over a bucket of hot pitch.
This incredible vintage postcard from around 1905 shows Dreamland at night, with its large tower shining a light that could be seen for miles.
