Whether visiting the noticeably tech-less Times Square, the somewhat newer Brooklyn Bridge, or the better-dressed street vendors, there's a sense of nostalgia for better days that most of us didn't even experience firsthand (especially if you find yourself walking through Times Square on a regular basis).
