Captured around 1954 by photographer Marvin E. Newman, this artistic photograph shows the world famous Roseland Ballroom surrounded by Times Square's neon lights and vintage cars of the day. Unfortunately, the ballroom has since been demolished and will soon become a 62-story tower. Here is a Google StreetView of approximately the same angle today:
