This vintage photograph from 1925 shows the James J. Butler Real Estate office at 2131 Flatbush Avenue in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn. Check out those home prices! Injusted for inflation, in 2019 that 6-room Kingslawn home would only be $115,671.12. Interestingly enough, that small office still exists today, right next to a Post Office. Here is a Google StreetView of approximately the same angle:
