Vintage Photograph Shows a Packed New York City Subway Car in 1957

This great vintage photograph from 1957 shows that things really haven't changed that much on the New York City subway, other than fashion. A packed train car filled with commuters during rush hour, with New Yorkers crammed all the way up to the door. My guess is that it's probably the end-of-day rush hour judging by the dead look in their eyes.
