The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is back this week on Thursday, November 26th, Thanksgiving.

Now in its 89th year, the parade will take the same route it did last year, heading down Central Park West, turning East on 59th, then South on 6th Ave until heading West on 34th.

In this vintage photograph from the Library of Congress, check out what the parade used to look like 85 years ago, way back in 1930.
