Video Tribute to Most Instagrammed Spot in BK: Water St. and Washington St. in DUMBO

The intersection of Water St. and Washington St. in DUMBO boasts one of the most iconic views of New York City. From this spot, the eastmost tower of the Manhattan Bridge is perfectly aligned between two old brick buildings, with the Empire State Building siting in the gap below the tower.

In this video from Gothamist producer Jessica Leibowitz, see just how popular the spot is for Instagram selfies and photography.

If you stand on Washington Street in DUMBO, you will never be alone. The stretch between Plymouth and Front streets is often filled with people—standing on cobblestone and surrounded by old brick buildings—pointing their phones at the Manhattan Bridge. Or standing in front of a professional photographer. Or angling their selfie stick juuuuuust right. We don't have any data, but it's safe to say this is one of the, if not the most Instagrammed spot in all of Brooklyn.
