The latest Apple store isn't a glass and steel cube, but rather a restoration of a 1920's era bank in the Upper East Side on the corner of Madison Ave. and 74th St.

The company painstakingly restored as much of the original as they could, and authentically reproduced what they couldn't in order to make the new location as accurate as possible to the grandeur of the original bank.

Apple restored a 1920s bank for its new location on Manhattan's Upper East Side, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in America.
