The Lower East Side's Tenement Museum is one of New York City's more fascinating museums, giving you a peek into tenement life from the mid 19th to mid 20th centuries. Normally, the Tenement Museum doesn't allow photographs or video inside, but sometimes exceptions are made. Our friends at Curbed recently seized the opportunity to capture the inside of the museum, showing the apartment of Josephine Baldizzi Esposito, an Italian woman who grew up in the tenement in the early 1930s with her family.
