The West End Concourse recently opened inside the old James A. Farley Post Office Building and provides direct access under 8th Avenue to Penn Station. In this video from our friends at Gothamist, peek inside the newly opened concourse.
Penn Station's new West End Concourse adds a new entrance to the much-maligned station, allowing commuters to get into the station through the Farley Post Office for the first time. It's the first section of the eventual 255,000-square foot Moynihan Train Hall to open, a train hall that will eventually come with 112,000 square feet of retail space and 588,000 square feet of office space. Allegedly, construction will finish in December 2020.
