Video: New Rotating Neon "UNDERSTANDING" Sculpture Installed in Brooklyn Bridge Park

Brooklyn Bridge Park recently saw the installation of a massive new rotating neon sculpture with the word "UNDERSTANDING" at Pier 6. Our friends over at Brooklyn Paper went by to check it out.

A public art organization erected a 25-foot-tall revolving neon sign reading “Understand­ing” at the Pier 6 end of Brooklyn Bridge Park last week — turning the green space into what appears to be a tete-a-tete with the already famous sculpture spelling out “Yo” and “Oy,” which sprung up near the Brooklyn Bridge late last year, a spokeswoman said.
