[VIDEO] Explore the Harlem Food Scene With Chef Marcus Samuelsson and Harlem Eat Up 2017

Now in its third year, the Harlem Eat Up is an annual 4-day festival that celebrates the neighborhood's rich history of entertainment, art, music and especially food. In this video from NYCGO, watch as celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson explains why you should explore the festival in Harlem.

You can expect a lineup of celebrity chefs to celebrate all things Harlem at this lively food and entertainment festival. Both free and ticketed events will be offered, ranging from a tribute to Billie Holiday at the Apollo Theater (with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, among others) to the Grand Tasting at Morningside Park, a two-day-long outdoor dining bonanza. Among the restaurants to be featured during the event are Melba's, Minton's and Red Rooster Harlem, along with other iconic neighborhood spots.
