A newly updated interactive map from the New York City Department of Buildings shows you every spot where construction scaffolding, a.k.a. sidewalk sheds, have been erected, and how long they have been up. As of this post, there are 8,005 sidewalk sheds across the City, covering 1,539,817 linear feet, with the average age of 270 days. Check out the full map to see what's going on in your neighborhood.
