Tonight Only, Gramercy Park Will Open Its Gates to All Non-Millionaires

Gramercy Park is the only private park in the City. The only people that are allowed inside are key-holders, and to get a key you have to live in one of the mansions on the streets directly surrounding the park. Chances are you are not a millionaire, so how can you peek inside?

As the saying goes, if you can make it here you'll make it anywhere, and if you have access to a key to get into exclusive Gramercy Park, you or someone you know is privileged and powerful and should take me out to dinner. But once a year on Christmas Eve, a charitable tradition allows us normals to step into the park's hallowed grounds key-free.

Tonight only, the gates will be open to the public starting at 6pm as part of the Parish of Calvary St. George's christmas caroling.
