Timelapse Video of Construction on the "Matchstick" at 432 Park Ave

While the builders insist on calling it 432 Park Avenue, the newly constructed, tall and skinny skyscraper at the corner of Park and 57th has been unofficially dubbed "The Matchstick" by all the New Yorkers I know, so yeah, we will keep calling it that.

The Matchstick topped out last year at 1,396 feet, making it the second tallest building in the City behind 1WTC, and the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere.

Click through to watch the 4 year construction of the 88-floor skyscraper in this 3-minute time lapse video released by the developers.
