Captured from atop an old building on 56th or 57th street looking north, this great vintage photograph shows the Plaza Hotel, the Vanderbilt Mansion, Central Park, and 5th Avenue as it appeared on a foggy day back around 1906. Colorized by an unknown artist, this shot is one of the only photographs of its kind from around then.
