Hot Bread Kitchen is a bakery in Harlem that bakes hundreds of different types of bread from all over the globe on a daily basis.
The bakery also uses its profits to run its Bakers in Training program that teaches its female employees how to bake bread, run a bakery and even business and language skills.
The Hot Bread Kitchen Bakers in Training program is an innovative workforce development program that supports low-income, minority and immigrant women to launch culinary careers and food businesses. By learning the business of bread baking, our trainees professionalize their passion, transcend barriers to employment and change the face of the culinary industry.
