This great vintage photograph from around 1901 shows Herald Square and its namesake New York Herald newspaper headquarters, along with the old 6th Avenue Elevated Train, several streetcars headed up and down Broadway, and dozens of well-dressed pedestrians. Check out the specimen page on the Library of Congress Digital Archives for more info on the photograph.
