This Astronaut Captured 9/11 Destruction From the International Space Station

On September 11th, 2001, U.S. astronaut Frank Lee Culbertson Jr. was orbiting earth 150 miles above the surface aboard the International Space Station. While the footage quality reflects camera abilities at the time, he was able to capture the billowing smoke from space. Check out the video and listen as he shares his sentiments on the day of the attack.
